Help & Support

We're here to help you drive smarter.

Most questions are answered below. If you're stuck or something looks wrong, email us and include your iPhone model, iOS version, and the app version from Settings — it helps us fix things fast.

Quick start

Five things that cover most of what you'll do day to day.

Score an offer manually

Open the Scout tab and choose to score an offer. Enter the payout, miles, and estimated time, pick the platform, and Delivery Scout returns a score, verdict, and your real $/hour and $/mile.

Scan a screenshot

Take a screenshot of an offer, then use the screenshot scan option and pick the image. Scout reads the numbers with on-device OCR. Check the detected platform and fields, then score it.

Use Live Mode

Start Live Mode from the Scout tab and begin the screen broadcast through the iOS picker. Offers on your screen are read and scored as they appear. It's advisory only — you still accept or decline in your delivery app.

Start and stop mileage

Start a shift from Home to track miles automatically, even with the screen off, then end the shift to stop. You can also start and stop mileage tracking on its own from the mileage screen.

Restore purchases

If you've bought Pro or Founder Lifetime and moved devices or reinstalled, open the paywall or Settings and tap Restore Purchases to bring your access back through Apple.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and what to try first.

The score looks wrong
First, check the inputs Scout used — payout, miles, and estimated time. A wrong number in (often from an OCR misread) leads to a wrong score out. Fix the field and re-score. Scores also reflect your own settings: your vehicle cost, strategy, and cutoffs all shape the result, so two drivers can score the same offer differently on purpose. If the inputs are right and the score still seems off, email us the details so we can look.
A screenshot wasn't detected
Use a clean, full screenshot of the offer card with the payout, miles, and time visible and not cropped. Very dark, blurred, or partial images are harder to read. If a field comes back blank, you can type it in before scoring rather than guessing. If the platform is detected wrong, correct it on the read screen before you score.
Live Mode isn't detecting offers
Make sure the broadcast is actually running — you start it through the iOS broadcast picker, and iOS shows a status indicator while it's active. Live Mode reads real offer cards; it intentionally ignores maps, receipts, history, settings, and other screens, so it won't score those. If a genuine offer card isn't picked up, note the platform and what the card looked like and send it to us — real examples are exactly what improve detection. Manual and screenshot scoring always work as a fallback.
Mileage isn't tracking
Mileage needs location permission and an active shift or an active tracking session. Check that you've granted location access in iOS Settings and that you started a shift (or started tracking). Tracking continues with the screen off during a shift; it stops when you end the shift. If miles seem far off from your odometer, let us know — include roughly how long the shift was.
Restore Purchases isn't working
Restore relies on Apple. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you purchased with, and that you have a network connection, then tap Restore Purchases again. If Apple can't be reached, Scout will tell you rather than silently locking your access. If a valid purchase still won't restore after a solid connection and a relaunch, email us and we'll help.
Weather attribution and weather data
Weather shown in the app comes from Apple Weather (WeatherKit) and is attributed to Apple where it appears. It's provided to help you plan and is handled by Apple's services. If a weather feature isn't loading, it usually means the data couldn't be fetched at that moment — try again later.

Beta feedback

If you're testing a beta build, your reports are gold. The most useful feedback names the exact screen, what you expected, and what happened — screenshots help. Please flag any wrong parse, confusing screen, or score that doesn't match your read of an offer.
