Privacy Policy

In short: Delivery Scout has no account system and no servers of its own. Your offers, scores, history, mileage, and earnings live on your device. We can't see them, because there's nowhere for them to go.

1. Overview

Delivery Scout ("the app", "we", "us") is an iOS app published by NG Digital Holdings LLC that helps gig delivery drivers score offers and keep their own records. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it lives, and the choices you have. It applies to the Delivery Scout iOS app and this website (deliveryscout.app).

2. Information we collect

We do not operate accounts or servers, so we do not collect your app data. Delivery Scout does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, phone number, or delivery-platform credentials. The information you enter or generate in the app (offers, notes, mileage, earnings, settings) is created and stored on your device.

The only time you share information directly with us is if you choose to email us for support or to join the beta, or submit the early-access form on this website once it is connected to a signup service. In that case we receive what you send — typically your email address and whatever you write.

3. Information stored on device

The following is kept locally on your iPhone (including in an app group container shared with the app's own extensions, and in your device/iCloud backups if you have those enabled):

This data stays on your device unless you deliberately export or share it (for example, exporting a mileage record and sending it yourself). You can remove it using the app's data controls or by deleting the app.

4. Location and mileage tracking

Mileage tracking is optional and under your control. Location is used only to measure the miles for a shift or trip you start yourself. When you start a shift or start tracking, the app records distance for that session — including while the screen is off — and stops when you end it. Location data is used on-device to compute mileage and is not sent to us. You can decline or revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time; mileage tracking simply won't run without it.

5. Screenshots, OCR, and Live Mode

Delivery Scout can read offer details from an image or from your screen:

Live Mode is advisory only. It does not tap, accept, decline, automate, or interact with any delivery app — it only reads what is on screen and shows you a score. You always make the decision yourself.

6. Purchases and StoreKit

Optional subscriptions and one-time purchases (including any "Founder Lifetime" purchase) are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple handles the transaction and your entitlement; the app checks your purchase status through Apple's on-device APIs. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Apple services (WeatherKit and MapKit)

If you use features that show weather or maps, the app may request that data from Apple's WeatherKit and MapKit services. Those requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy terms. Weather data shown in the app is attributed to Apple Weather where required. These features are used to inform you and do not send your delivery data to us.

8. Notifications

The app may show local notifications (for example, an alert about a scored offer or a shift reminder) if you enable them. These are generated on your device. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

9. No account and no platform credentials

Delivery Scout never asks for your DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Walmart Spark, Instacart, or any other delivery-platform login. It has no connection to those platforms' systems and cannot act on your behalf inside them.

10. No sale of personal data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not run advertising networks or third-party trackers or analytics inside the app or on this website.

11. Third-party services

The app relies on Apple platform services (App Store/StoreKit, and optionally WeatherKit and MapKit) as described above. This website is hosted as static files (for example, on Cloudflare Pages), and the hosting provider may process basic request information such as IP addresses to serve the pages, under its own policies. If you submit the early-access form once it is connected to a signup provider, that provider will process what you submit under its own privacy policy.

12. Data retention

Because your app data lives on your device, you control how long it is kept. Delete records within the app, use the app's data-erase controls, or delete the app to remove it. Any email you send us is retained only as long as needed to help you or run the beta, and you can ask us to delete it.

13. Your choices

14. Children's privacy

Delivery Scout is intended for adult gig-economy drivers and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here. Significant changes may also be noted in the app.
