Live Mode, explained honestly
Live Mode uses a screen broadcast that you start, through iOS's built-in broadcast picker. While it runs, Delivery Scout reads offer cards that appear on your screen using on-device text recognition (OCR), checks the numbers, and shows you a score — usually before you'd finish reading the card yourself.
When the numbers aren't fully visible or the read is uncertain, Scout says so instead of guessing — you'll see labels like "Mileage not visible" or "Confirm the numbers" rather than an invented figure.

Delivery Scout was built the boring, honest way: there is no account system and no server. The app makes no network calls of its own — the only services involved are Apple's (weather, maps, and App Store purchases), governed by Apple's own privacy terms.
