Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This policy explains what information Delivery Scout handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what a feature needs, to be clear about it, and to keep you in control of your own records.

1. Overview

Delivery Scout ("the app", "we", "us") is an iOS app published by NG Digital Holdings LLC that helps gig delivery drivers score offers and keep their own records. This policy explains the categories of information the Service handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the Delivery Scout iOS app and this website (deliveryscout.app). The Service is evolving, and this policy may change as we add features - see "Changes to this policy" below.

2. Information we handle

Depending on how you use the Service, the following categories of information may be involved:

  • Information you enter or generate in the app - offers you enter, scan, or detect and their scores and verdicts; logged offers, completed deliveries, and shift history; mileage records and shift summaries; store or restaurant notes; and your settings, vehicle cost profile, and scoring preferences.
  • Information you send us directly - if you email us, submit the early-access form, send a message from the support page, or post on the feedback board. We receive what you send: typically your email address and whatever you write. Section 10 lists exactly what each form stores.
  • Purchase status - if you make a purchase, Apple provides your entitlement status so the app can unlock features. Payment details are handled by Apple, not by us (see "Purchases").
  • Location - only if you turn on mileage tracking (see "Location and mileage").
  • The public feedback board on this website - posting or voting there is optional and does not require an account. It identifies you by a random pseudonymous handle, never by name or email. See section 10.
  • Accounts and community data in the app (not offered today) - the iOS app has no accounts and no shared or crowd-sourced data. Your offers, scores, and mileage stay on your device. If features like these are ever offered they will be optional, and this policy will be updated with the specifics first.

3. Purchases and StoreKit

Optional subscriptions and one-time purchases (including any "Founder Lifetime" purchase) are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple handles the transaction and your entitlement; the app checks your purchase status through Apple's APIs. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Apple services (WeatherKit and MapKit)

If you use features that show weather or maps, the app may request that data from Apple's WeatherKit and MapKit services. Those requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's privacy terms. Weather data shown in the app is attributed to Apple Weather where required.

5. Location and mileage

Mileage tracking is optional and under your control. Location is used to measure the miles for a shift or trip you start yourself. When you start a shift or start tracking, the app records distance for that session - including while the screen is off - and stops when you end it. You can decline or revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time; mileage tracking simply won't run without it.

6. Screenshots and Live Mode

Delivery Scout can read offer details from a screenshot you select or from the screen you are viewing, and turn them into a score. Live Mode uses a screen broadcast that you start through iOS's built-in broadcast picker, and you stop it whenever you like.

Live Mode is advisory only. It does not tap, accept, decline, automate, or interact with any delivery app - it only reads what an offer says and shows you a score. You always make the decision and tap Accept yourself.

7. Delivery-platform credentials

Delivery Scout never asks for your DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Walmart Spark, Instacart, or any other delivery-platform login. It has no connection to those platforms' systems and cannot act on your behalf inside them.

8. Notifications

The app may show notifications (for example, an alert about a scored offer or a shift reminder) if you enable them. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

9. No sale of personal data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not run advertising networks inside the app.

10. This website: forms, the feedback board, and cookies

The app relies on Apple platform services (App Store/StoreKit, and optionally WeatherKit and MapKit) as described above. The website is separate from the app, and unlike the app it does store some things on a server. Here is exactly what, so there are no surprises:

  • Early-access signup - we store the email address you enter, the platform and hours you pick, your optional note, the time you signed up, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address. The hash is used only to rate-limit abuse; we do not store the IP itself. Signing up twice with the same address is a no-op.
  • Support messages - we store your reply-to email address, the topic you pick, your message, the time you sent it, and the same kind of salted IP hash.
  • Feedback board - posts, replies, and votes are stored with a pseudonymous handle derived from a random id in a cookie, plus a salted IP hash for rate-limiting. There is no name, no email, and no account.
  • Cookies - the feedback board sets one first-party cookie (ds_uid) holding a random id, so your own posts and votes stay yours across visits. It is HttpOnly and Secure, lasts a year, and carries no personal information. There are no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies on this site, and no third-party analytics scripts of any kind.

This data lives in our own database (Cloudflare D1) attached to the site's hosting - not in a third-party mailing-list, form, or helpdesk service. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and Cloudflare processes basic request information such as IP addresses in order to serve the pages and protect them, under its own policies. The feedback board's composer runs a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check, which loads a script from Cloudflare on that page only.

The signup form cannot email you. We have not built any email sending, so submitting it stores your details and nothing more - no confirmation message, no newsletter, no automated mail ever. Beta invites are sent by hand, in small batches. Email support@deliveryscout.app to check on, change, or delete your signup.

11. Data retention

You can remove records you create in the app using the app's data controls or by deleting the app. Anything you send us - an email, an early-access signup, a support message, a feedback post - is kept only as long as it is useful for helping you or running the beta, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing support@deliveryscout.app. We will delete it; we do not keep a copy for marketing, because we do not do marketing email.

12. Your choices

  • Grant or deny location, and start/stop mileage tracking yourself
  • Start or stop Live Mode yourself through the iOS broadcast picker
  • Enable or disable notifications in iOS Settings
  • Delete records you create at any time
  • Choose whether to sign up for early access, message support, or post on the feedback board - all optional
  • Ask us to delete your early-access signup, a support message, or a feedback post
  • Clear this site's cookie in your browser at any time

13. Children's privacy

Delivery Scout is intended for adult gig-economy drivers and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

Delivery Scout is an evolving product, and we may update this policy as the app and its features change. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here. Significant changes may also be noted in the app. New features that handle information in new ways will be reflected here before or when they become available.
