How it works
Set it up once. Then keep both hands on the wheel.
Two taps at the start of your shift - one in Scout, one on iPhone’s own broadcast sheet. After that you just drive. Every offer that lands gets read where it sits and scored on your numbers, before you decide.

Start the broadcast
Tap the button in Scout. iPhone asks first - tap Start Broadcast, wait out the 3-2-1. The red dot at the top of your screen means Scout is reading. Two taps, once a shift.

The offer appears
Open your delivery app and work like you always do. When an offer lands, Scout reads the payout, the miles and the time straight off the screen in front of you. What it can’t read clearly it flags - it never guesses a number to fill the gap.

You get a verdict
A 0-100 score and a clear ACCEPT, CONSIDER or DECLINE, with the $/hour and $/mile behind it and every point shown. The Accept tap still happens in your delivery app, by you.

When a number isn’t on the offer card, it stays a dash. Missing or unclear data pulls the verdict down to a caution instead of being filled in with a guess.

Straight answers
The questions that matter.
It reads my screen. Where does that go?
Nowhere. There is no Delivery Scout server to send it to. Live Mode uses iPhone’s own screen broadcast - the one you start yourself, with the red dot at the top of your screen the whole time it’s running - and the text is read on your phone by Apple’s built-in Vision framework. It only ever sees what’s on your screen while you have it on; it can’t look into other apps in the background, and it stops when you stop it.
No account, no sign-in, nothing to set up. No screenshot leaves your phone. Your offers and earnings sit on your iPhone, and Settings › Data will hand you a full copy or wipe every bit of it.
What does go out: weather, map routes and address lookups, which go to Apple’s own WeatherKit and Maps and get a coordinate or an address - nothing about you, your offers or your pay.
Does it auto-accept offers?
Never. Delivery Scout is advise-only - it shows you the math and a verdict, and you always tap Accept yourself.
What makes Scout’s $/hour different?
It’s the rate for the whole run, not the headline on the offer card. The $/hour and $/mile Scout shows are gross - the pay over the real miles and the real clock, traffic included.
Your car is priced separately and shown next to them as est. profit: the pay minus what those miles actually cost you in gas, wear and depreciation. That after-cost figure is what the score leans on. You get both numbers, so nothing is hidden inside an average.
Does it ask for my DoorDash or Uber login?
No. Delivery Scout never asks for your delivery-app username or password. You keep driving in your own apps exactly as you do now - Scout just scores the offer in front of you.
Which apps does it work with?
DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub. Scout isn’t wired into any platform - it reads the offer card on your screen, so in principle it doesn’t care which app put it there. But those three are the ones we’ve actually tested, and we only claim what we’ve tested.
If Scout can’t read a card confidently it tells you instead of inventing a score, and there’s a by-hand form for the ones it can’t.
Is it giving me financial advice?
No. It surfaces your own math - the real $/hour and $/mile behind an offer. The decision is always yours.
